In late February 2010 Memorial Foundation President Ken Smith and V-President Bob Wolfgang visited Columbus Monument who are cutting and engraving the granite panel for the 173d Memorial. Attached are two pictures of bob Wolfgang along with Lynn Evans of Columbus Monument looking at one of the polished panels.

Also included are the latest construction photos from the 173d Memorial. The Plinths which support the granite panels and stainless steel frames have been poured along with the base for the center column that will support the Globe, Bayonet, and Wing Sculpture. The Sculpture once in place will be the centerpiece of the 173d Memorial.
